Welcome to the Blackfin Linux Project

This site is the central repository and workspace for free or open source software and open hardware projects targeted for use with certain members of the Analog Devices Blackfin processor family. In addition to a wide range of applications, this workspace also focuses on supporting Open Source hardware and software tools, including the GNU GCC toolchain and the uClinux distribution.

The blackfin.uclinux.org website is a free service to Open Source developers and users of Open Source Software, offering easy access to the best in source code, mailing lists, bug tracking, message boards/forums, software roadmaps and releases of Open Source software, as it relates to the Blackfin processor.

Documentation

Pretty much all of our documentation lives in our Documentation Wiki. You can find snapshots of the whole site which is useful for offline browsing.

Support

The blackfin.uclinux.org website is supported by both an active open source community as well as a dedicated team from Analog Devices Inc.

We do provide support (including user assistance and defect correction) for the GNU Toolchain, Das U-Boot, the Linux Kernel, the uClinux Distribution and the schematics found via this web site. If you have a question, or think you have found a defect/bug, please ask in the Help or Bugs links found on this page. Note: requests reported via telephone or e-mail cannot be properly tracked and managed and so, to help us to support you, please report all issues you have via the above issue trackers. Please do not send private email questions or bug reports to project developers email addresses or mailing lists managed on this site. We do not have the resources/time to reply to them. Normally - they will be deleted without action. Please refer to and use the processes we follow at http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=processes.
